A deluge of protest from homosexual agenda groups 

        has persuaded Proctor & Gamble to withdraw from its 

        planned sponsorship of a new television show starring 

        the popular talk show host Dr. Laura Schlessinger. She 

        is falsely accused of being a "homophobe" and inciting 

        violence against homosexuals. Anyone who disagrees with 

        the gay agenda is subjected to that type of name-calling. 

        On her program, Dr. Laura upholds the traditional moral 

        objection to homosexual behavior, and opposes a legal 

        sanction of same-sex marriage and the adoption of children

        by homosexuals. However, she counsels family members to 

        accept and love relatives who are homosexual, while resisting 

        being pressured into condoning behavior they consider wrong. 

        Although she regularly lashes out at heterosexual callers

        who are "shacking up" or otherwise violating moral behavior 

        or neglecting children, she is sensitive and respectful to 

        homosexual callers.
