STATE BILLS:
PARENTAL NOTIFICATION FOR ABORTION, SB 30
TEF has worked very hard to pass a bill requiring parental notification before an abortion may be performed on a minor girl. Now, we’re stepping up our efforts because time is running short. The Senate has already passed the bill, SB 30, but House State Affairs Committee Chairman Steve Wolens has denied a hearing for that bill.
Along with other pro-family groups, we are asking our friends across Texas to call your State Representative at
512-463-4630 on WEDNESDAY, April 14th
and express your support for:
a public hearing in the House State Affairs Committee for SB 30, and
a “YES” vote after the bill is freed from the Committee.
